Well, it seems like everyone figured out what we’re doing from the last letter hint, so here you go. Our new show for the fall is Sasameki Koto.
This is as pure yuri of a manga as a manga can get. It’s about a girl (Sumika) who has a crush on a girl (Ushio) who she hears likes girls, and has a friend (Tomoe) who’s in a lesbian relationship with another girl (Miyako).
About the code: Sasameki Koto in l33tsp34k is 5454m31<1 1<0t0. Add together numerical neighbors to get 18m4<1 1<t. Repeat to get 9m4<1 1<t.

I like how that code is completely _not_ reversible.
(Someone above pointed out that it was like a hash, and yeah, basically…)

I’m assuming the setting is at some catholic private school, correct? If it is I don’t get why they all ways use this setting in these types of animes. I’ll probably still watch it though still.

When I first looked at the “code” I thought it had something to do with leetspeak, but couldn’t make any sense out of it.
@Murialita – They didn’t change the code, the website ate the <t from the end of it. I posted about it a few releases ago. It still shows up if you look at the source code for the site, but it doesn’t show up in the article.

WTF, i’m really grateful that i haven’t been downloading from Chihiro for a while. And i guess that will continue for sometime. Why’s everyone so much into Yuri? In fact i don’t like. Ok, i like a little of it, but not everyone in the series have to be lesbian or gay…. T_T

Still doesn’t explain how it went from 4<4 to 4<1. I also checked the comments in some of the later releases and I wasn’t the only one that saw it that way. Though I do see the correct code in the original post now.
But it’s not like it really matters. Patience paid of at the end.

Re your “cipher:” You could as well hash the string “Sasameki Koto” and get as many correct answers–zero, that is. A cipher is supposed to be reversible but your “cipher” reduces to an NP problem (Google knapsack). Worse than irreversible!

It is at a co-ed school, and there are a few characters that are NOT lesbian in the series, but obviously yuri type relationships are the focus.

it’s yuri but not marimite super dramatic yuri more of a hidamari sketch yuri but with some pacing but it all ends up back in the friend zone endings. plus crossdressing traps!
it’s pretty off the wall with sumika’s erotic daydreams, 4th wall ramblings and even blatant cameos.
but it maintains some romantic atmosphere and draws a hazy line between friends and lovers.
