LOL at the U’s. I personally am a little picky on transcribing 憂鬱 as either “yuuutsu” or “yūutsu”, but did someone seriously want a re-release of the other episodes just to fix that?
Anyway, I noticed a mistake in the subs. Koizumi says that the loop is from the 11th to the 31st (when it should be 17th to 31st); this is probably due to mishearing “juu-shichi” as “juu-ichi”.

The zkc batches were stalled because of me. I am a senoir and had to take 2 months off fansubbing to prepare my license paper. The two months are over, and I’m free to do as I please again. Therefore, expect the 14-26 batch in about two weeks. I’m only up to episode 18.

Oh, another mistake (I’m not sure if the previous episode had this mistake of not, since I didn’t download that one, yet). Nagato said that bon was “omitted” 2,391 times, and was attended “twice” on 11,054 occasions, in the subs. But it should be that bon was “omitted” “twice”, with those two times happening on the 2,391st and 11,054th loops (so with the similar words used in those two statements, the misunderstanding is pretty obvious). In the novel, these numbers aren’t present (so KyoAni sort of came up with them out of thin air), but it was still mentioned that bon was omitted only twice. Also, it wouldn’t make sense to attend of bon festival twice in any given loop, given their tight schedule.

Yet another minor mistake found. One of the lines in Kyon’s narration says, “Meanwhile, that critical day drew even closer… August 31st.” But Kyon clearly says “hachi-gatsu san-juu-nichi,” and not “…san-juu-ichi.” So the last bit should be “… August 30th.” And it would make sense, since the next scene is a scene that takes place on the 30th.

In the last part of that pdf (after I read through the whole mind-dazzling and sarcastic explanations and all,) where it was stated that slave-driver Kristen kidnaps Asians and makes them translate and edit against their will — this sankakucomplex post might relate to those in the extremes that are on the verge of breakdown and nervousness claiming that Kristen will rule over the world with pedo-centric maniacs (*cough* I mean, staff members) and that they will be driven to become super young girls if they were kawaii enough (this includes us, men *shivers*) so that they could build their slave-translator army and loli harem.

Aero, with only 9 episode slots left (15 and the 4 remaining season 1 episodes makes 19 of the 28 slots taken), they won’t have enough slots to effectively cover Sigh (Sigh, if compressed effective, would go down to a minimum of 3 episodes, I would guess), since there are so many other stories as well. (And considering Sigh isn’t that important, it can be included in season 3 or something as an extra arc.) Listing them in chronological order for stories taking place after Someday in the Rain that have a good chance of being adapted this season, there’s stuff like Vanishment (5 episodes?), “Charmed at First Sight LOVER” (1 episode), “Snow Mountain Syndrome” (2 episodes), and “Where Did the Cat Go?” (1 episode). SMS is like a must, and WDtCG? is necessary to cap off SMS, or else it’ll kind of leave the characters hanging (those that read the novel should know what I mean). And the latter also serves as a nice soothing ending episode (in a way similar to what Someday in the Rain did for those that watched season 1 chronologically).

Hi, physics nitpick brigade here. Overall, not bad. I wouldn’t say that quarks “spin in the nucleon sub-structure at relativistic speeds”, though. Is that from Wikipedia? The entry for Beta Decay is more specifically electron capture; you may want to mention neutron -> proton+electron+neutrino and proton -> neutron+positron+neutrino. The second Light and Optics equation is the Compton scattering equation. The “semiconductor electron hole count” is not familiar to me… looks like statmech, with the 3/2 dependence.

as a chemist myself I need to inform you it isn’t called quantum physics but Quantum mechanics. And I don’t believe they should call it quantum physical chemistry, what we could call both quantum mechanics and physical chemistry is only a small subset of quantum mechanics.
But all the science they are showing in this season’s opening is very easy. But still it is nice to help the non-scientists among us. Although the information is lacking form an academic’s point of view.
