Hinako OVA – 650+ lines of timing for the loss… Basically, windstar and Maxite saw this on Sankaku Complex (Think that’s how you spell it), and bought it. After they said that, they said “Let’s sub this!” So, we had some free time yesterday, so we did. It’s a silly fitness OVA of 1 episode that is mainly just about boobs and panties.
No XviD for this. The latter 18 minutes REQUIRE chapters to make sense, so we cannot do an XviD. Sorry.

To Love Ru OVA 1 – Of course we’re subbing this. Why would you spend half a year subbing a series and then refuse to do a 3 episode OVA? Though, this was a big challenge in consistancy. We originally had no subs on OP and ED and no typesetting, QC, nor TLC check. Since we’ve added those steps in, we had to find a happy medium. It was QCed and TLC checked, but for the songs and typeset, we will softsub it in. I am planning to release a fancy effect karaoke, but that will be a seperate file. I figure this way, if you prefer TLR as you watched it, you can just turn off the subs. We are not planning to become a softsub only group anytime soon, but if you’re a fan of it, enjoy it here.
Next OVA is in June and will be finished a lot quicker than this one.

I guess about the sub you put on the Op and Ed of K-On!, I wish that you guys can re-do the sub as the The single for OP and ED are already out. I hope that you guys can change to the correct word of the japanese subtitle for OP and ED. And also Hatsukoi Limited, the are few word like “Tsukorou yo Happy Glider”, not Happy rider. I wish that the episode 3 of Hatsukoi Limited will much be better for the Op. I just finish doing the script for Sphere – Future Stream and it’s kinda hard to do the sub. But still i manage to do it by my own. Keep up a good word, Chihiro. You’re the best. And don’t let coalguy beat you up.
ps. I hope that you guys have to put the correct translate for the episode title of K-On! as episode 1, you write abolished but the correct is suspended. And episode 4, you write retreat but the correct is Training Camp.

yeah thank you very much for Toloveru OVA and Hinako OVA and K-On!
BUT! Please recheck the Toloveru (H264) release again. It plays just fine on VLC, Zoomplayer and standalone – but it doesnt work with WindowsMediaplayer (the video is loaded but didnt start and stays blackscreen)

roflcopter… Why are you playing h.264 on Windows Media Player? That is an even worse playback solution that VLC.
It won’t play because WMP has no anamorphic support.

well – what player/combo would you recommend the best? i got vlc/zoomplayer and WMP11 with CCCP pack (on different pcs)…anything better will be tested on-the-fly

Cirno, you can do chapters in XviD mkv, but mkv is not as compatible as avi. As such, doing a lower quality codec for compatibility and and higher quality container is counterproductive.

720×480 is the standard DVD resolution. Our release is 16:9 anamorphic which means that your player will automatically expand it to 16:9 during playback. In case it doesn’t set MPC to override the aspect ratio with 16:9 and set Zoom to 100%.

It doesn’t work with both Hinako encodes with MPC+CoreAVC 1.9.5, MPC+libavcodec and MPC+ffmpeg work fine.

Oddly enough, I watch anime and I’m also athletic (go figure). Since I was sick you know, I figured, hey, a light workout never hurt anyone. If I can’t beat a silly anime character then I just fail at life you know? So I did fine for the first few days, 3 sets of 12/12/12 right? Then all of a sudden, wtf, busting out reps of 24, that’s just not right!
Also she goes way too fast. There’s no way an otaku could keep up with her pace. And 12-reps is pushing it considering most people do 10-reps.. 12 is such an odd number. And the transition phase is too fast; it needs more time for in-between set cooldowns… typically at least around 15-30 sec; people shouldn’t have to hit the pause button. That sit up speed is also unrealistic; that is more of a crunch speed. Plus not enough upper body core, no triangle pushups, and the speed at which you’re supposed to go down with pushups isn’t a drop but it’s supposed to continue to strain your triceps and shoulders.
In other words, they probably should’ve started with sets of five good pushups for people who do nothing but jerk to anime, and worked up to 7/10 within 2 weeks. Also if they ever released something like that in America they’d have to deal with knee injury liability without specific instructions on correct squat positioning.
Either way.. I think the workout is good for casual people who aren’t fat but aren’t necessarily athletic, to burn some calories every night and build up your triceps/quads/a little bit of lower body core.
