This show has been quite a fight to get out. It’s pretty hard. But, hopefully we aren’t ones to disappoint. Here’s episode 3, where the character I’ve wanted to see the entire show finally appears.

BTW guys, instead of waiting for the xvid… download the h.264 and convert it? Takes less time? 15 minutes with a dual core and 2 pass? contact me at cybotico@hotmail.com if you want to know how to convert them with megui at HQ. I do it all the time

Hey people, to convert the episodes to xvid all you need is the mediacoder (freeware), there is no secret at all, but sometimes the reconverted file do not work so well (I dunno the reason), so it’s always the best to wait for the xvid file… Also, no one is going to die (or almost no one is going to die) waiting some more few hours till Chihiro release the xvid version. I always do prefer to download the xvid (not just because my computer sucks, but also because my DVD player also run xvid files, so for me it’s always the best format to download)… Anyways, for the ones that want to convert, as I said before, you guys can use the mediacoder (that is a freeware), and then you choose the new format (avi, mpeg, mov, rmvb or whatever you want), and then in like 20 ou 30 minutes you will have the converted file. However, sometimes the converted video do not work so well, and during the convertion you always lose some quality (regarding the image).

I always wait for the XVID. I’m an Apple iMac G5 user and I can never get the h.264 MKV to convert to a format playable on my iPod and AppleTV without loosing all the subs. I’ve tried Handbrake, VLC and iSquint, but every time, the subs vanish. Does anyone know of a good Mac compatible transcoder that can handle subs and a PowerPC processor? Trans-ing XVID is much easier, but having to wait a few extra days for them to appear on BT is difficult. Thankfully, Chihiro always do a good job, so the wait is worth it.

dont blame lithuania (I’m fro there), blame the shitty internet providers they have. There are 2 good ones – Balticum and Telelanas, 1 extremely bad, but for some reason popular ZEBRA (99% says it was zebra’s fault) and a bunch of other crappy providers. I myself stick to Telelanas and get 5.7MB/s download and 2.1MB/s upload speed..

VLC, Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic, to name a few. But if you ask because of playback issues, it may be the specs of your comp.
