I think with a new month, there should be some sort of a status post about just the state of things in general. I guess to start off, most of you probably know what is going on. We’re subbing Sekirei, To Love Ru, and World Destruction, while trying to catch up with Zettai Karen Children. This amount is a very nice amount for us, as all of our translators are basically working on 1 show, with the exception of Ky (<3 you Ky! :))
However, there have been a lot of people saying "Please sub slayers!" or "Please sub Monochrome factor!" Which alone is a bit surprising to me, because I would think you'd ask a group with less than 4 ongoing series first. However, we are presently unable to sub any of these stalled shows, nor do I foresee us being able to in the fall, as all the translators have already committed themselves to projects for the upcoming season. You only know of 2 (EF and C;H), but that's not all that we will be doing. (Note: Slayers/Monochrome Factor are examples, not something we're recruiting for)
So, why am I writing this post? I'm looking for translators. C->E or J->E is of no issue to me, just somebody who can translate is fine. I do sort of want to help get some stalled series out to the public, and someone to help us when we’re trying to catch up on a show such as ZKC or TLR is always helpful.

Yeah, it would be lovely if you got a translator to sub Slayers Revolution. Other than that it’s nice to see you all grow as a fansub group. Thanks for your releases.

You shouldn’t even worry about slayers. Main reason why Eclipse dropped it because
they got the DMCA notice. To just avoid crap from funimation you should let some anonymous
group finish it up, and besides I think D-R and VivaRevolution is still subbing it. Only series I’m
really looking forward to is Vampire Knight lol.

f#%^ the slayers (i love them to, but) there are to many other groups already subbing it !!!
What ever you do, make a rational decision. There is no need to sub something that’s been subbed hundreds of times before.
(By the way only 2 groups subbing “Wagaya no Oinarisama” and they are both very slow and i’m not even sure they aren’t droped it)

I believe its best not to take on too many projects. Once a series has been finished, then you may consider doing new ones.

I could maybe do chinese - english translation cause I can read chinese. But why do you guys need C–>E translator when it’s Japanese do you guys use the chinese fansubbed videos to translate or something (probably i guess…).
