Also… Why is no other group doing wide screens? You lose so much detail with a full screen. Like, episode 10, there’s a scene where Kotoha is talking, and only 1/2 her body is shown on the screen.

I’m guessing you’re wondering what this is. Well, I was looking at a transport stream today for an early Zettai Karen Children episode, and found this. Since it was extremely funny, and also kind of scary how much of a pedophile he seems like in the commercial, we subbed it. XD

It’s funny. Out of all the eyecatches, this episode had my least favorite. And for some reason, most of the eyecatches I end up selecting tend to be the one for the 3rd part of the episode.

I love pans. I love the older children. I love Aoi. And we have decided that Aoi belongs to me, Kaoru belongs to Raijenki, Shiho belongs to Kylaran, and Mio belongs to DmonHiro. And we’re all going on a group date on Friday.
And yes, we are still releasing a week behind Japan. We have no choice, though. So long as Chinese subs are slow (Even this new source we found that is releasing before KTXP), we won’t be able to release any earlier. If we get a source of transport stream with closed captions, MAYBE, but most likely it’d still be the same.
Also, what do you think of the new style?
Here’s a couple of notes for other shows. Ikkitousen GG OVA 3 has no chinese subs, just a DVD rip. We may try to get a TL of it later this week J->E if worst comes to worst, but no guarentees. Kyou no Go and Skip Beat may be released tonight, depending on how encoding goes. ef, check the status post.

Episode 09! If you don’t remember memories, this was the episode with the crazy phone booth scene that MADE the entire series. Some argue for 07 in memories, but I’m all for episode 09.

OK, serious. I don’t know what the heck was with the audio, but it just was not lining up with the dialogue at all. And, I don’t just mean the usual 0.3-0.4 second skew from the transport stream. It was off by like 3 seconds in places.
In the end, I had to cut up the audio into 4 sections: The OP, the episode part 1, the episode part 2, and the preview, and then line each of them up correctly and put the appropriate amount of silence where it was needed. It was freaking ANNOYING.
