However, I do understand that some people are following us for our release, and to keep in consistency with episodes 1-3 from us. As such, we are not going to be dropping the project. We will, until someone joins us who wishes to translate Ikkitousen, use the yesy scripts to release. In other words, Ikkitousen has become a joint.

I will go through and edit the scripts to be consistent with our previous releases, time them, encode them, etc. However, expect these releases to be delayed by approximately 1 day (I intend to release on Thursday instead of Wednesday due to reliance on yesy scripts).

Also, we most likely will not be the first group to release Ikkitousen this week, because I am going on vacation until Sunday. You can also expect episode 9 to be delayed for another vacation (That will probably be a double release with 10). Other than that, expect it either at 9 PM EST on the day that Yesy releases, or the time Yesy releases plus 2 hours (If they release between 5 and 10 PM EST).

So, we did it. We subbed our first show from end to end. 13 episodes of glory, and a series that can finally be attached to our name. “Who subbed DCIISS?” people will ask. And they will respond “Chihiro!” :p But, it feels good to know that we’re now a real group, not just a vulturous one. XD

This episode reminded me very much of a game I played, One ~To the Radiant Season~. Same sort of a scenario. The post-mordem episode.

I have to say, this was a fun show to sub, and I personally enjoyed working on it, bringing it to you all in something like 2 days after it aired (Due to raw issues), instead of 2-3 weeks. I think the latest we released was a Tuesday or so, and again, because of raw issues. These types of shows are also really EASY to sub. This episode had a grand total of 216 lines to time. Compare that to Geass this week which had 480. Unfortunately, EF seems to be around 330 for when we do it, but that’s alright. It’s EF.

720p releases will be forthcoming. Sorry about the delays on those. We put getting out other shows as a priority before them, and we also were looking for a good raw to work with. That’ll include the XviD encode of this episode. Batches will be released shortly after that.

Another thing. About the picture. Nanaka had about 30 seconds of screen time this entire season. So, to protest again Circus, I have put her as the highlight of the show! All hail Nanaka, grandaughter of the goddess Kotori herself!

These are the present trouble areas we may see:
1. DCIISS will most likely not be released until tomorrow at the earliest, depending on when the raw is released.
2. ONE of our Wednesday shows may be delayed due to the translator being on vacation for a week.
3. To Love Ru may be put on hold until Sunday night or Monday due to its timer being on vacation for a weekend. We cannot ask our last dedicated timer to do it because he works on it with another group.

We’re presently are trying to fix all these issues at the moment. The one we’re mostly trying to fix is the To Love Ru issue by finding a replacement timer. So, if you are a timer who can rough and fine time, please contact me at Kristen207@gmail.com. So long as you do it in 4 hours or less, it’s fine, since late is better than never.

I KNEW this episode was coming sometime soon! Little later than I thought, but still, it’s here! This episode corresponds to the end of the first manga volume, and the end of the spring series of Penguin. But, not to fret! More Penguin coming next week! Also, we cut out the commercial. It was a stupid thing about their DVD, and while it was actually TLed, we decided to not release it.

And DCIISS is over now! :’( Ah well, subs for that upcoming. We’ll try and get a 720p out of 12 soon, but no guarantees. Low priority release for us. XD

Also, want an interesting statistic? In the month of June, this website has 1.5 million hits. Not bad for a site that’s only 2 months old.

All of our post have been Sairenji, Saki (Thanks for telling me that), or Imouto-san, so why not one of Ren/Run. Anyways, done on time again. And you know what this episode is? The end of cour one of TLR! Yay! OK, so not really as much of a landmark as tomorrow will be (End of the first manga arc of Penguin), nor anything near Sunday (First series finished from end to end in DCIISS). But, it’s still a landmark! Wait… We did that with Macross. Nevermind.

In other news, do you remember the story about the eyepatch girl and her knight? The story about the basketball girl and the camera man? The delinquent and the artist? Yes, that’s right, EF ~A tale of Memories~ still lingers strong within us. And today, we got word that there is a second season in production, EF ~A tale of Melodies~. As you can tell, EF is our namesake. We are going to sub it when it comes out, no exceptions. Someone does high quality in 5 minutes? Props to them, but I don’t care. Chihiro is doing it, and it will be our top priority show. I’ll update with more info as I find it out.

So, yeah. We really messed up on the first version. There were timing issues, issues with missing lines, and issues with audio. Hopefully this should’ve fixed all three. I’ve retimed, re-encoded, and re-uploaded the file for anyone who cares. I used a different raw source too, so we cannot really just release the .ass and say “Here, use this as a v2!”

On an unrelated note, thanks to anyone who donated to us. We really appreciate it, and I was really shocked all day that anyone would care to do so. With these donations and more that will hopefully come, we should have an extremely dedicated server to help get releases to you guys within the next month.
