OK, here’s the official release. We made it so that it fit in with the TV series. So for instance, the h.264 has AAC audio instead of FLAC, and we did an XviD instead of a SD h.264.

I have no clue what’s going to be happening with the batches. For the moment I believe that the files we have now are the best we’re going to get, but I’ll wait for official word.

GIGANTIC apology to polished fansubs. Somebody asked for for k-timing to use for a fansub (polish), and I read it as polished, not like Polish the language.

If you simply want to watch the episode, go ahead and get the leaked version, we will not be providing links here, but I’m sure it’ll be easy enough to find.  If you are interested in the official release for archiving purposes, a correctly formated version in both HD and SD will be provided.

So here’s the (extremely) delayed Zettai Karen Children Batch 2. This is a full on re-do with episodes re-edited, episodes 14-22 re-encoded to the right frame rate, karaoke/translations added for songs, and the style used in the other episodes applied. So the pink font of death is officially and finally dead.

We’re also release the XviD batch in full, because no further adjustments are going to made there. We are going to still be making a few adjustments for episodes 27-51, such as a re-encode of 27, 29, and 40, as well as script fixes for h.264. But these are going to be much lighter and easier.

You want the 27-39 batch? Well, just think about how much you asked about batch 2 (a ton). And think about how much faster it got out because of your inquiries (delayed 5 months).

This batch contains a v2 of episode 1 and 12 for both h.264 and XviD to fix the pink font of death and the frame rate issues. This is the only partial batch that will be released for XviD. Once we fix up to episode 22, I will not be re-encoding XviD versions, so I’ll just release a full batch for that.

The next batch (14-26) will be the slowest of the four. When’ll it be out? Only DmonHiro knows. May be tomorrow, may be next week, may be next month, may be next year. We’re fixing TLC and font issues in the episodes, that’s why it’ll be slower than 1-13.

Also, we’re not going to label any of the re-done episodes as “v2″. This is because we have so many episodes we’re v2ing, the entire batch would have a v2 tag, and would be poor for organization and such.

Well, this is the last individual episode we will be releasing for ZKC. Everything from now on will be in batches of 13. This is also the last blog post for an individual episode. T_T

I was but a lonely TLC at the time, but I leveled up, and upgraded to full TL starting episode 37. That episode was too badass to wait for a translation. We’re also going to re-do 1, 12, and 14, and do 05. We will be re-encoding the episodes we failed on (1, 12, 14-23, 27, 40). I will not be re-encoding XviDs for any episode other than 1, 12, and 14-23.

These re-do’s will be released in a batch per season (1-13, 14-26, 27-39, 40-51). We will release a batch XviD of all 51 when we re-do up to episode 23, and a batch h.264 alongside the 40-51 batch.

Also, from subbing this series and watching Hayate, I’ve learned something. Hayate’s music is good. But there is just so little of it, so it just keeps on repeating.
ZKC has classical music, jazz music, rock band music, and has such an extensive soundtrack that there’s usually a really good piece of music in every show. I DLed the soundtracks, and it was an ear orgasm.
If you like music, DL the soundtracks to this show, whether you like the show or not. You won’t be sorry you did.

Anyways, onto a bit of business. ZKC 05 should be Sunday by my guesses. After that I need to re-encode 01 and 12 before making a batch set for the first 13 episodes. I’ll probably be able to make a batch for the last 12 in about a week or so, when we finish the series. We have a couple of files to v2 in 40-51, and that’s done already, so it’s really when we finish 51, we’ve got the 1st set and the 4th set done.

The 2nd set (14-26) is what I’d like to ask for help on. See, I have been downloading BS-J transport streams from Perfect Dark. And I’m DLing 12 for 5 days now, and it’s at 30%. It’s not going to be fast, and DLing them again for all the files we did at 23.976 idiotically (14-23) would take months.

Shinsen-Raws did an excellent job with 14-26. If anyone has a set of Shinsen Raws 14-26, could you make a batch torrent and distribute it for me? Or upload it to MU and give me links?

Let’s see… How much are we behind now? 2 early ZKC episodes, 2 late ZKC episodes (49 will be either today or tomorrow. Our encoder had net issues). 2 Marimites (11 will be out today or tomorrow. We made a mistake last week that cost us a week). 2 Akikans (TL had RL issues). 1 Minami (On schedule).

I’d like to release all of this sometime over the course of the next week, but I can’t exactly promise it, since as you can tell, we’ve been having some things compounding on us. For instance, I had to spend 10 hours on a secret project yesterday that should’ve been spent gradually over the course of the season. Oops, looks like I leaked it.
