We’re done with ZnT 02, and the series. This morning, SS-Eclipse released episode 01 of Zero no Tsukaima. Now, if we were speeding it, this wouldn’t be an issue. But as a quality sub, the goal is to be the best quality out there, so you can be remembered for the series. Now, the thing about SS-Eclipse is, regardless of the other groups’ quality, they’ll be the ones remembered for it. Heck, look at Kanon. I personally feel that AFK was by far the best group, but SS-Eclipse is remembered.

Simply, we’d be oversubbing it if we continued.

So, we’re going to simply focus more on our other series, all which will now be speed. We MAY pick something else up, but the summer is looking pretty boring from the shows out there. We’re going to look more at the fall season.

Also, to whoever released that Clannad 24 torrent on Mininova with our name: Chihiro will NEVER touch Clannad. Ever. It was one of the things we swore on at the group’s creation. I support Sprocket. I don’t try to sub it myself. :p

Also also, if you were kbed out of Chihiro 2 nights ago, I apologize. That was a staff member (ex-staff member now) who was ragequitting due to my invite of someone else to be staff. I thought he’d be a little more mature about it, but I guess not. Regardless, the situation is remedied.

We’re done! Finally!

Sorry about the massive delays. I was hoping to get this out like 3 or 4 days ago, but more and more things piled on, and we had to switch encoders, and deal with better raws, and needed lots of TLC/QC, and basically tons of stuff that comes from the first week. We basically had no organization this week due to the first week crisis stuff, but it should be better now. I think we all know what to do and when, so expect episode 2 out much earlier than this was.

Also of note, ASF is a really fun group to work with. <3

Also, although you probably don’t care, XviD is encoded at 704X400, not 704X396, so it’s a bit different than what Chihiro usually releases. h.264 is 1280X720.

Also, for those who are saying we copied Minori-Osu’s TL, I’ll inform you that we had a TL of this before they released. So, unless someone magically knew exactly what Jaka was thinking with Minori, it’s not going to be their TL.

Well, I’m not going to hide it anymore. We are working on Zero no Tsukaima. This is kind of an experiment for us in that it’s our first real quality release, when it’s ready. Our goal is to never fall a week behind. But, you can expect high quality releases. After all, we’re jointing with Anime-Share fansubs. They will not allow for bad quality to be released.

And, as you will probably see, we’re almost done with episode 1, which is the hardest in a quality release.
