Episode 26 DDL: Enjoy!

Nazo Edit: For those of you that are wondering what I changed, they are mostly minor tweaks and a couple of fixes to mistakes that went through QC. The main changes that would affect people are:

- “gravitational superstring” -> “superstring gravity”. It’s actually said the latter way, but I had used the former because fundamentally, I wasn’t sure if the latter was a real term in physics (which it seems to be).

- “Familiar”->”Daughter” when they actually pronounce “Daughter”. In the novels, they used the kanji for “familiar” (pronounced “tsukaima” and I’m too lazy to look up the actual kanji right now) but the accompanying hiragana pronunciation used “doutaa” (or “Daughter”). Following the series in season two, it makes more sense why the author used this term so I changed that.

There were a few other fixes, mostly for consistency reasons (although some were just errors), that were done in each ep, so it’s not just those two bigger changes above. Fortunately, the last ep does NOT contain either reference, so if you’re fine with the original files, you don’t really need to update (no real TL fixes). I’m not sure if you can just rename your files and if it will hash most of it so you don’t have to redownload as much… probably not…

I believe the same fixes will be done for the 480p, but fortunately for you, since we were behind, there’s less to update for you.

1 more episode to go~ Though the .ts we use isn’t on PD yet, so this is technically at a “caught up” stage now.

As we get closer to the end, we start wondering about the batch. Presently, our plans are to make a batch of 1-26 with a v2 for the episode we forgot the font in, and fix the TL mistake in 22. In addition, we’re planning to v2 the ED. Are there any other things to change?

I don’t know. Adult Nia certainly looks a lot better than loli Nia, but on the other hand, she’s also not a loli.

This actually puts Asura back on track. In fact, everything seems to be running close to what I was hoping.

This includes a v2 for episode 21 to fix the repeating line issue and one retrospective issue of 22 applying to 21.

K-On 7-10 1080p in about 10 hours because Hatsuoi BD 2 finished downloading, and all upload bandwidth is being consumed in uploading it.

Also, this is an announcement that D4RK-PH0ENiX of Eclipse and I are officially dating.

I highly disagree with DmonHiro. I think this was the best episode of the series so far. Then again, I love these types of discovery/revelation episodes to begin with, so maybe that’s why.

I don’t know what it is about this week, but real life catches up fast. Makes me wonder sometimes how some groups are able to release on consistant dates and don’t have to worry about real life. Maybe they’re older than our average age? Maybe younger? For the most part we’re mostly uni students, so maybe they’re either high schoolers or working adults.

In the past week we’ve had 2 translators who’ve disappeared for multiple days, and one who couldn’t do anything until last night because of the pre-thanksgiving workload. We also had Maun catch Swine flu. I’m holding out that people will actually return, as we seem to have gotten the gears turning a bit.

I’m going to hope for 21 in 1-2 days, but I have no clue because 21 apparently is a boring episode.

So, I was doing a little research on the novels vs. the episodes. Yes, we still have the novels as a project, but don’t expect any releases any time soon. Anyways, here’s how they seem to line up.

1-3 – Novel 1
4 – Novel 2
5-7 – Novel 3
8-10 – Novel 4
11-13 – Novel 7
14-17 – Novel 8
18-20 – Novel 10
21-23 – Novel 11

So, as you can see, they skipped like 3 novels entirely. And not only that, but they skipped a novel with a perfectly good loli.

They better be going back soon to cover novels 5 or 6, or Kristen’s loli-lacking rage will emerge.
