After a while of stalling (mainly @ me forgetting that I still hadn’t encoded it), we’re done. 1 more to go~

But this OVA really shows how Quartet needs a long series to do it any justice. Otherwise we just get small arcs like the OVA, or haphazard poor series like the TV series.

No XviD anymore since I didn’t feel like it. But it is 8-bit since we started doing this in 8-bit and aren’t going to change to 10-bit mid-series.

This took a bit of time. Though seriously, lolz at the XviD. I only did it to be consistent with the series, and it wound up being bigger than the h.264. Meh.

Anyways, not really doing anything else really consistently since our series was not exactly up to par. Different styling, different encoding, softsub OP/ED, etc.

The next episode comes out on like… 4/8, and who knows how long after that we’ll release it.

You know, now that this is done I can FINALLY free up about 10 GB of space on my hard drive. I’ve always been deleting and re-creating the same 10 GB for each episode.

Anyways, I’m going to pack this away for a few weeks, if not forever. IF I ever finish the DVD versions of this, it’ll be after I’m done with the Zettai Karen Children re-encodes. And since my schedule presently is Thursday/Friday and Sunday/Monday K-On, that doesn’t give me much time for extra encodes, unless someone with a dual core or better with a powerful internet connection and windows want to let me remote desktop onto their machine and occupy ~30 GB of HDD space.

So, I was thinking a bit today, surprise, surprise. And then I realized something. Quartet just doesn’t fit. Look at the shows we’ve subbed. We have the Sekirei, To Love Ru, Rosario to Vampire 2, Zettai Shougeki, Asu no Yoichi, Akikan (To some extents), Penguin Musume, and Ikkitousen in one category. Then we have Kyou no Go no Ni, Zettai Karen Children, Minami-ke, and maybe Maria in another. The loud fanservice type and the soft type.

Quartet just doesn’t fit in with the others. Ah well.
