So, for those who don’t remember, about a year ago we speed subbed a show about lolis. And while it was a success for us in terms of speed and acheiving our goals, its quality also was pretty bad. And then no other group did more than 2 episodes in a matter of year.

So, we TLCed, re-styled, re-timed, and QCed this, and put it on a DVD raw. Should be much better. If it’s not, well, at least it’s actually watchable now. What we had originally was >.>

By the way, this is still a sub from just Chihiro. Shindou-Chihiro is just my way of distinguishing that these episodes are nowhere close to the original ones from last fall.

Anyways, last episode of the series. It’s been fun, and it’s finished. We have no intention of adding karaokes or doing DVDs or v2s or anything like that. Only thing we may do is a v2 of this episode if it has an encoding error (I.E., screen goes black, or it desynchs, etc.), or something you may have mentioned a few weeks back that I missed. You have until Tuesday to say any reason why any episode needs a v2 (Encoding errors, missing lines, forgot to style, etc.), and if there is no real legit reason (I don’t buy “Bad translation” or “Poor grammar”, as that is your opinion, not ours), then we will batch on Tuesday.

This is one of the first weeks I chose the 2nd eyecatch over the 3rd. Weird, isn’t it?

OK, so a note about our torrents. Note that we do have trolls, and probably always will. We are taking measures to prevent that. First, please always check with our website. I will try to add the blog post soon after release. If there isn’t one, check with the IRC channel. If it’s not there, then check anirena’s page, Chihiro If it is not on any of these, then it will be a troll from someone else, and you will likely be tempted to gauge out your eyes.

There were a lot of complaints about playback in 05 and 06. This was not an encoding failure. The encoder said he intentionally encoded them wrong. As such, we are releasing a v2 of both episodes.

We will not be v2ing any other Kyou no Go no Ni episode (Unless 11, 12, or 13 warrant it).

We also do no need to v2 the XviD because those played back fine.

Anyways, there was a looooong delay in 09 h.264. This was due to more encoder change woes. To be honest, this show is a curse of encoders. We’ve had 3 encoders in the past, and all 3 have either quit/been removed.

It’s funny. Out of all the eyecatches, this episode had my least favorite. And for some reason, most of the eyecatches I end up selecting tend to be the one for the 3rd part of the episode.

Believe it or not, after ZKC 32 (hopefully tomorrow), we have no late releases to catch up to (As in, my own guesses on release times). O.O By Thursday, we may actually have a couple hours where there’s nothing for us to do! Wouldn’t that be nice.
