Well, finally, we can say goodbye to Hayata and friends. Been a good ride.
As per usual, 720p TV is no longer supported and has been removed from bots.

July 8th, 2010 at 10:50 pm
so are the earlier episodes’ encoding fixed in this batch? If so what episodes were they?
July 8th, 2010 at 10:51 pm
Careful there. Some eps have been re-encoded due to problems.
July 8th, 2010 at 10:55 pm

July 8th, 2010 at 10:59 pm

Good job n stuff.
July 8th, 2010 at 11:32 pm
The weird CRC error from ep 2′s distro is also fixed (with the same filename, since the file on our end didn’t have to be changed).

Wikipedia says season 2 retcon’d season 1. Would I be missing much if I didn’t watch season 1?
July 9th, 2010 at 2:05 am
Yes and no. Season 1 had little plot and was mostly comedy, but it’s still entertaining to watch. Season 2 focused more on the plot, but had less of the parody-style comedy that season 1 had. Personally, I would watch both seasons, but you don’t really have to. More than anything, you’ll be missing out on developing an understanding of the characters.
Unfortunately, Season 1 has no blurays, so you’ll need to download Ec***se’s TV encodes if you want to watch it.
July 9th, 2010 at 2:35 am
Thanks Soichiro. And thanks Chihiro for another series!
July 9th, 2010 at 3:37 am
S3 will have even less comedy and some serious plot. Anyway, good work.
July 9th, 2010 at 6:29 am
I’m watching season 1 now, and I gotta say this is hilarious! It kinda reminds me of School Rumble with all the parodies throughout and it’s fun when I actually recognize some. I think they really liked Dorothy from MAR cause she seems to pop up in over half the eps.
It’s going to be odd if Season 2 is devoid of so much of the humor throughout S1, although I’ll enjoy it, regardless. Great series, imo! Don’t know why I hadn’t picked this up sooner!
July 9th, 2010 at 7:07 am
thx you for the batch and series…. i just started watching this and its good ^^
July 9th, 2010 at 9:10 am
i cant get utorrent to load the 1080p torrent file. the only error message im getting is “invalid torrent file”. is anyone else having this problem? im using utorrent 2.0.2
July 9th, 2010 at 12:21 pm
Thank you for your hardwork.
@sephus
The 1080p torrent file works fine. Just tried it and it works fine using uTorrent 2.0.2.
Most probably, your download was corrupted. Re-download the torrent file again. The torrent file should be 328 KB.
July 9th, 2010 at 1:36 pm
@JT
yea that did it … i dont know what was corrupting the download last night, but it worked this morning, thanks
July 9th, 2010 at 2:34 pm

July 9th, 2010 at 7:16 pm
No more hinagiku *cries*
July 9th, 2010 at 11:12 pm
I was previewing ep 5 and noticed that the intro is almost totally pixellated, I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary once the main part of the ep started. Has anyone else noticed this? I’m using zoom player with all of the latest codecs installed. Sames goes for windows media player. Media player classic played ok, however. Not sure what the difference is.
July 10th, 2010 at 1:33 am
Wow! I just checked and on several episodes, the opening is unwatchable using MPC-HC’s internal filter (while 1,2,4, 18-25 play normally). If I turn on FFDShow, they will play fine. That’s odd cause all the OPs and EDs play normally on the internal filter, which I thought all the eps were using via ordered chapters?
July 10th, 2010 at 1:36 am
… and just to add, the EDs of those files also blocked up except for the ones I listed. The main eps played fine on all.
July 10th, 2010 at 1:41 am
(just to clarify) OP and ED files by themselves play fine, just not when viewing them via the episode itself, unless FFDShow is turned on and the internal H.264 filters are turned off.

I can’t download from IRC bot [chihiro]Sakura. When I try to download the bot always say ‘[chihiro]Sakura- ** Closing Connection: File Error, Report the Problem to the Owner (No such file or directory)’ does anyone have same problem ? Thank You
July 10th, 2010 at 7:19 am
I can’t download the 720p. It says “invalid torrent”. I’ve tried redownloading 3 times, but the error still occurs. Can anyone enlighten me as to what should solve this? :]
July 10th, 2010 at 7:21 am
*Oops, tried downloading again and it worked. :] Anyway, thanks, Chihiro!
July 11th, 2010 at 4:33 am
i have problem with torrent speed.
idk why, it’s very slow, only 1-3 KB/s on this file ([Chihiro]_Hayate_no_Gotoku!!_2nd_Season_[1920x1080_Blu-ray_FLAC] )
i have no problem downloading other anime torrent file ( can speed up to 120KB/s )
July 12th, 2010 at 3:28 pm
Same problem with pieter, only on 720p. I can’t seem to get past 3-5 kbps. Sometimes it even goes to 0.x speed. Hmm.
July 13th, 2010 at 6:18 am
Try downloading from BakaBT for the 1080p since its freeleech and bakaBT torrents are always seeded properly
July 13th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
Actually, for me, the sub timing on the ending is off. For the entire time, the subs are about half to a full second off.
July 15th, 2010 at 6:06 am

Hey guys I got this one glitch on the second ep. I play other eps flawlessly.
ep. 02 @ 22:11 (whole ep with op/ed)
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I trying different output and different code like ffdshow, CoreAVC, or mpc-hc internal DXVA, all display the same error.
I dl the ep twice, crc check, and I still got the error. Damn
July 22nd, 2010 at 4:26 am

Can people please seed the 720p BD for at least 2 days? I was quite busy and then I had internet failure, which sux.
I could go for SS-Eclispe, but I prefer Chihiro’s, so thanks in advance to all seeders and ofc to Chihiro for doing this series.
August 18th, 2010 at 10:28 pm
Thank you for the 1080p.

[Chihiro]_Hayate_no_Gotoku!!_2nd_Season_[1920x1080_Blu-ray_FLAC]
i’m stuck at 29%
October 18th, 2010 at 12:37 pm
Hey Kristen, do you know know if the Hayate 2nd season has any extra scenes or dialogue thats different from the TV release? Or is it the exact same release except in BD?
October 19th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
Need some people to seed the 1080p. It’s really getting slow..
and for those with troubles playing video files i recommend Shark007 codecs if you use Windows 7 or Windows Vista no need for mpc-hc players after that.
February 15th, 2011 at 10:30 pm
1080 batch: 0 seeds and 211 peers, being stuck at 11% for a few days now.
We need more seeds please, and thanks!
August 1st, 2011 at 6:56 pm
720p has no seeds
Please help! I can seed (slowly) if I can get it downloaded! These files do not exist anywhere else out there….
August 28th, 2011 at 9:02 am
Please seed it or I’m gonna die waiting
