We released 2 episodes at once, and are looking to release 2 shugo chara episodes hopefully by Friday. So… yeah.
Little announcement though. Sora no woto was hard, so the status is that we may or may not be picking up a show in the winter. If we do, it may be sora no woto, or it may be something else. If we do pick a winter show up, we won’t be releasing the first episode for 2 weeks.

Tbh if your gonna take 2 weeks to sub sora no woto im gonna use one of the other groups since its kinda oversubbed as it is, why not pick something else like vampire bund or something less subbed?

Clarification of the above: Thanks very much Chihiro. This is appreciated very much—but there’s something very wrong with the audio quality on these two that’s just fine on the previous ones.
(Thought you should know about this quickly, so you can withdraw this release and v2 it rapidly, as I don’t think you want your name on this.)
If you want a quick A/B comparison demonstrating the problem, simply put the OP of your ep 10 opposite the OP of this ep 11 and listen. These new ones are incredibly muffled, like they have the treble turned all the way down.
Tested with multiple decoders (CCCP, foobar2000, mplayer), it’s not a playback issue. It’s not present on your previous episodes, which were great quality. The bitrate, sample rate and AAC profile haven’t changed from the previous ones either, and it’s not a raw problem as afaik the raws were fine (e.g., Mazui’s release is OK), so I can only assume something went wrong with the encoding this once…?

The links up there right now, [6AEFAF36] and [6013F258], are the unchanged v1’s (not fixed).
I think she means that the fixed v2’s will be in the 1-13 batch to come.
It’s not a problem with the raws as far as I know.

For those that are giving suggestions, we’re not really going to listen to them. The list of anime this season is small and if we do decide to do something, it’ll be what the people working on it want to work on.
Series I don’t want to work on include (but are not limited to…): Baka to Test, Qwasar, Chu-Bra! and Ladies vs. Butlers
And Sora no Woto contains Japanese slang as well as old Japanese, which are not the TL’s (and probably TLC’s as well) forte.

@tom for TL’s theres old slang and the newer slang that they have to figure out for us thats a main issue for a lot of other subbing groups, so im guessing its the same especially with a few disappearences in staff members chihiro has been having that may add to the problem

Sorry, I just want to know because I find your subs for this series the best among others.
But it would be a waste to download it all (from episode 1 to 12) if it’s only going to be dropped.
As much as possible, I want a consistent fansubber for one series.
