1. We will not sub Asura Cryin until it airs on Tokyo MX.
2. We will be releasing Asura Cryin 1 (14? Not sure how they’ll number it) a week later than normal due to our translator’s exams. Episode 2 (15?) should be as usual.
3. If you have to ask whether we are still subbing it now that Crunchyroll is licensed it, please look at the license status of the thread you’re posting in first.

@Freak – I believe the OP and ED are encoded at a different framerate than the episode, plus this reduces the encode time (and size) by not having to do redundant sections each time. They were released with the first ep.
Also, if you aren’t getting them to play when you start the episode, double click the Matroska Splitter icon in the tray, go to Input, then under “Try to open linked files” make sure it has Yes.

Shouldn’t be that too hard concept to grasp. You could have also not upscaled the thing and released the things a 480p, which would have probably left enough space to include the puppet show at the same filesize.

1.) This isn’t upscaled, its downscaled from 1920×1080 -> 1024×576. (inb4shittyresizer)
2.) The puppet show is pretty pointless IMHO (even though I don’t watch this show.)
3.) People will start crying about filesize if we increase it.
We’re at the end of the series, we probably aren’t going to change anything as it is pointless to do so.

1) Downscaling station upscales to a resolution higher than the original resolution it was station upscaled from is still upscaling.
2) It’s still part of the show, CR agrees, and they are the ones with a deal with the actual makers of the show or people involved in the production of it
3) Tell people they’re stupid if they do that. Problem solved.
