Aaaand, we’re done. I’m going to say that I’m breathing a bit of a sigh of relief, at least. Heck, I thought we’d be releasing episode SIX today, not episode 12.
Now, DVDs were tentative before last Monday due to a lack of willing encoders (And no, we’re not going to hire a billion encoders. Don’t ask.) But, due to some things that happened on Monday, I lost a conflict of interest that was preventing me from encoding the DVDs myself, so I’m happy to announce that we will officially be doing the DVDs for PL. No Blu-Rays announced yet, sowwy. T_T

Thanks for the great work guys! I’ve really liked this series. One unrelated thing I just don’t get is why so many people wait for the xvid version to come out. All you need is Combined Community Codec Pack and Bam! you should be able to watch the h.264 versions which are so much better. If the cccp alone doesn’t work all you need is a good media player like the Core Media Player or even VLC. But again, thank you Kristen and everyone at Chihiro for their awesome work as always! ^_^

MaXander – I don’t use the xvid versions myself because I like my 720p without blur, but as I understand it xvid is compatible with burning to a disk and watching on a DVD player or putting on a PS3 etc and watching that way, so they are not stuck at their PC watching it; whereas you can’t do that with h264. Hope that clears it up.

Just a question but it appears that in the batch, episode 2 is the V1 (with the improperly muxed fonts) as opposed to the V2 which you released a patch for.

Whaaaaahhh… I wanted to see Charlotte and Mocha-san fight over Teppei!!! Damn. Eh? Yes, I know Mocha is in Rosario + Vampire… so? They could fight for Teppei then end up on the back car of the train in an “Anime Gone Wild” video situation. Rated Z for Cartoon Sexual Imagery. Wooo… Then, Foamy the squirrel would jump in when Teppei became ‘exhausted’ ha . ha . ha .

The DVD’s are indeed uncensored. It’ll probably be Blu-ray and DVD tho since it’s in HD anyway.
