Now, I personally don’t like the next story arc of Haruhi (Sighs), so I’m hoping that we will get a 5 week break from Haruhi so they can continue re-airing episodes from 2006 before airing disappearance.

its seen as 8 eps sadly with 5 more to go. >< which IMO Sighs should be 2-3 eps and Disappearance 4 eps… which comes to 6-7 so something is going to get robbed.

So im kinda confused, the credits kinda seemed like the end of a series. in the large scope, what is the order to be watched, does 2009 precede the 2006? somewhere in between or end it?

@z: Yes, some of the episodes of the 2k9 season come chronologically before some of the 2k6 season. Right now all the episodes from both seasons are being aired in chronological order.

I never comment but the math is all wrong for some…
28 total episodes-14 from 1st season=14 left for 2nd season.
14-9 aired(Yes, did you forget “Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody”?)=5 more unaired episodes.
So, we’ve seen NINE episodes episodes, not eight, and it’s a 14 episode season.
And since I “heard” there wasn’t going to be a disappearance(don’t remember/know if this was verified) the next new episode would have to be for “Snowy Mountain Syndrome”, and if KyoAni/Kadokawa decided to do Sighs, I suppose it would go before the movie and Live Alive. Otherwise, I’m not really sure what’s next.
Just thought I would clear up that it was an abnormal 14 episode rather than 13 episode season for some and I guess some people forgot about “Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody” since there was “ENDLESS EIGHT” and decided to give my thoughts on the next few episodes.

Well, now that its all said and done, this episode was the best of E.E. Haruhi freaked out, it was hilarious. I was a bit shocked she was so upset for Kyon finally saying something but she saw it as him ignoring her as the almighty all powerful SoS brigade leader in charge of all decisions. She says, “Jump” and you say, “How high?”, and Kyon said, “I’m gonna stretch my legs a bit first”.

I had to resort to watching the crappy speedsubs (granted, they’re not as bad as I thought they would be, but still…)
Anyway, I’m gonna watch this episode because Chihiro is a better sub group than Mazui (I still don’t get why FUCKING EVERYONE hates Chihiro on MyAnimeList… then again, it’s a crappy website anyway, so who knows? Chihiro is win anyway.)

You know… watching this eisode has been really ironic.
When I watched the first episode of Endless Eight, I said to my computer that if there was anything I could ask Haruhi I would ask her to help me with my homework. She is so clever after all and since she thinks that there is something else that she would like to do maybe she wouldn’t mind helping with me.
That was 8 weeks ago… funny how this episode turned out…

I liked Endless Eight, it was a great idea. Maybe 2-4 episodes too long but it was great and I disagree with people saying it was ‘lazy’. (The writing was, but the actual content/animation was good).
Anyway, thanks Chihiro, that episode ended on a real high note and I enjoyed it a lot.

FINALLY! The Endless piece of shit is over!
The Theory behind the arc was good, a time loop gives episodes infinite possabilities. But seriously, they way they played this out, with only minor costume changes and minor wording changes was just plain aweful. I’ll be blunt, it became “Painful” to watch. This is the worst played out anime arc I have “ever” watched.
All thanks to Chihiro for the ability to skip parts of the anime, and much credit for your perseverance with continuing to sub this. I doubt any of us here would have been supprised if you dropped it.
