@ wingsarise – While this makes sense as a concept, mysteriously when I try it (for the fourth episode, at least, while redownloading the previous episodes) it does not show the OP within the episode, but instead begins the episode from the start without sound.

The ‘ordered chapters’ mechanism which is supposed to create seamlessness: how is it encoded? Is there a mechanism and/or menu option (using VLC Media Player) which can be used to manipulate it, possibly to get it to work correctly in cases like this one?

In MKVtoolnix’s mkvmerge’s Chapter Editor, there are no ungreyed buttons…

*concerned by the way that the OP and ED take place surrounded by the rest of the episode, and so can’t be latched onto the beginning or the end as might have been possible by a more brute-force method otherwise*

@ Modhesh – what they have for the op + ed is called ordered chapters. You need to go
and download ep 01 – at least on my compie what that did was create a folder and put the
op, ed and ep 01 in that folder. When you dl subsequent eps, you need to put them in the
same folder as the op + ed, then it will work seamlessly after that.

The reason they (and it isn’t just Chihiro – other groups do it as well) has to do with
bandwidth – although in this case I think there was a techie reason as well – but it makes
each weeks ep a smaller file to download.

Ennyhow – give that a try – download ep 01 – and then put eps 2 and 3 in the same folder
and should work fine from there.

And NO! I don’t work here! I just watch about every other thing they do – if you like
Gendai Mahou, try Penguin Musume Heart – each ep is short at about 12 minutes but
funny, funny ~(smexy!)~ stuffs!
