The reason I wanted to write the blog post was because I wanted to ask if anyone’s going to Anime Expo this year down in Los Angeles California. I’ll be there for all four days most likely, and I was curious if any visitors to our blog would be attending. It’s my first year going, and I heard the crowds were huge, so I thought: “Hmm… Maybe…” Anyway, enjoy Haruhi. -Ky
Anyways, can someone ask Kyoto Animation to hurry up and announce a DVD and/or Blu-Ray release schedule? I want to know what I’ll be encoding in a few months, and they’re trolling me. 
Also, I’d like to add a Haruhi banner into the rotation. Please only use the females of the series, or the genderbent males (Kyonko, Itsuko, etc.) 800×250 please, and do not mix characters that have been genderbent into the same picture as those who have not. Please include the words “Chihiro Fansubs” somewhere on the banner.

Also, is not Yuutsu, it’s Yuuutsu, I don’t know why the groups always make that mistake. Yuutsu doesn’t exist in japanese, Yuuutsu (憂鬱 / Melancholy) on the other hand, does.

I’d appreciate it if she would have at least gotten the filename right, though. Makes me despair.

I remember a while back that someone said that in the second season all the characters except for Haruhi where going to have their genders swapped. I glad that didn’t actually happen.

After all the times Iv downloaded season 1 episodes from other groups because they label it 2009 and forget to mention its not S2 I was beginning to give up hope and get rather annoyed.
Someone needs to give a few of them a good slapping.

I’ll agree with a few people, the name is Yuuutsu, not Yuutsu. The first kanji has an elonged yu (yuu), the second has u and tsu, thus making it three u’s in the middle (or two if the first has a – above it but nobody uses that because it’s gay)
People spelt it Yuutsu (with a line on top of the 1st u). Because windows fails and fonts screw up at times, the line went missing and thus people spelt it this way ever since.

@Shino – Season 2 has been integrated into the timeline of Season 1. So during the rebroadcast in Japan, they’re showing the new episodes with the old in the correct timeline. The difference with the old episodes is that they’ve been remastered to 1080p for the new broadcast.
And here is my little entry into this little foray. I love Kyonko, but not as much as Itsuko. ^_^

ahh – see Zig. あの子 means that kid or that child, 子 is usually added to girls names to give them childlike attributes. 僕 and 俺 are masculine, and if you listen to the way Crona talks, he talks like a guy. On top of that, how could you think that a weak willed, disparaged, consistently insulted and picked on person with no backbone to speak of could be considered a tomboy? Bottom line, until we see official ta-ta’s or a johnny (to borrow from higashi no eden) it’s gender non-specific. My opinion is male, same as my Japanese friend here in Tokyo.

How about, simply download the ‘Combined Community Codec Package’ and install the player with it. That takes care of pretty much all issues.

the reason for the same name in 2 eps is because of the “plot” in these eps.
unfortunately i won’t be able to explain the exact details here, because that would be a spoiler for the endless 8 episodes.
to understand it, watch both eps(and i heard something about a 3rd endless 8? don’t know though, keeping the new eps for on the way to france in a few weeks)
