Well i dont see whats the problem with episode 8, it uses both episode 1′s OP and ED as long its in the same folder, but im assuming you did that with the 1-7 eps..

Ep 9, it uses the new OP and EP 1′s ED, just copy the ED into the same folder as ep 9,
