Sorry for tripple (technically double) post, but i use aWarpSharp only for resized anime. I just downloaded an R+V and resized it to 720p and it really looks like 720p with warpsharp. line bending (not banding) is minimal. 90% of the lines are straight, even at intersects.

just a completely off topic question – Do you guys think the WarpSharp function in ffdshow is good for anime encoding? I use it and it gives me like… ZOMFG WTF quality. it’s amazing.

I use 3pass HQ and the rest is standard.

i wouldnt be too sure, if you compare between the dvd version and the tv version, you’d see that the tv version sucks quality wise.

thanks, though I doubt there is much need for dvd version as WS had everything we needed.
