Been a fun set of 12 weeks! WSs will continue, and both this and Quartet should be out in full in a few weeks time.
This also marks the completion of 50 episodes of TBS 4:3 – 16:9 shows over the past 4 seasons. 51 if you include the random xxxHolic:Kei episode we did. Going to continue that trend into next season~ Yay!

Well basicly Japanese dont really seem to mind about these Fansubs, infact they tend to work positively on their dvd sales. Would you buy 30-300 episode anime serie that you know nothing about? But could you think buying anime serie that you have loved as funsub from begining to the end and want to support the creator?
However the American/European licensors (basicly the ppl who buy the rights to publish the anime outside japan are much strickter for this. But fansubbers only rarely fansub licenced anime so.. But they tend to strike against fansub groups instead of the ppl downloading them.
milions still download movies and music from internet, instead of cathing every1 downloading them most just focus on the source that is sharing them.

The next series I’m looking forward to is Queen’s Blade as well as the completion of Zettai KC. As for Asu no Yoichi with it complete I can now watch the reamainig episodes without fear of the series being dropped. Thanks!

Quality of subs was Chihiro as always–that’s world-class fansub
But this last episode was disappointing. I was thinking all the way that fool of a samurai would come to his senses and fall all over for Tsubame Benten Ryuu–the “school,” of course–but he didn’t. I reckon he eventually does that because Angela’s “under his guidance” speech sorta foreshadows it (and the manga seems to agree). Why not sooner than the next season (or never if there’s no next season) then? Isn’t it obvious?! Dammit! I’d go sweep floors for a dojo the Tsubame Benten duo operate and that Yoichi won’t step up to “guide” them

“okata” is also not gender specific. There’s no way of being sure if it’s “him” or “her”.

I see. Thanks for the info. Now I wonder what’s the difference between okata and hito.
Anyhow, I guess the context makes it clear. At first I thought “the person” in question must be Yoichi but it seems to make more sense if it’s Tsubasa. After all, she’s the school head who’s skipping duty.
It’s even clearer in this translation of the manga where Angela spells out the premise:
