DC IF is part of the Da Capo series. If you’ve been following us for a year, we did sub DCIISS, and you probably have seen all the other series. If not, they’re REALLY good.
This is a 2 episode OVA chronologizing what would have happened in Da Capo if Jyunichi chose Kotori instead of who he eventually did. Hence the IF. Imaginary Future.

Begin with the first season of Da Capo. Then move to Da Capo ~Second Season~.
After that, you have DCII, or Da Capo II. Then DCII ~S.S~.
THEN you can go onto Da Capo IF.

I totally agree, they are really good. Although I did start to feel sad in a few places. I bet those who have seen Da Capo and Da Capo: SS will know which places I’m referring to.

Half correct, Da Capo Second Season follows on from Da Capo, whereas Da Capo II is based in the future of Da Capo, it involves the grandchildren of Jun’ichi, (main char from Da Capo).

I love the series totally.
the Da Capo series
first the first season is from junichi and yume’s first appearance continued in season two of it.
The Da Capo II is the continuation in a way not related no more yume. Its story of junichi’s
MOE granddaughters. Its a MUST series. For the 1st Da Capo II just a side stories
but the second story is the main story thats always related to the sakrua tree. And it made
me cry….. SAKURA!!! JUNICHI!
about this one I was eagerly waiting then it pop up in tokyotosho a sub version and sub by chihirosubs “I love you guys” As for the series WHO THE HECK IS THAT GUY! NO RESEMBLANCE OF WHATS SO EVER ON JUNICHI!

Uhh, if you look at the furigana you will see that it’s just if instead of Imaginary Future. The PS2 game, on the other hand, is subtitled uhh, Innocent Finale

The series goes like this DC > DCSS > DC IF. The DCII series are not necessary to watch because it has different characters that live in the same town several decades into the future. Another option is that you can just play the game and get a better understanding of the world of Da Capo.

Kotori is the kindest and less selfish chara in DC, and her personnality is way WAY much better than Nemu’s. Why is it that Junichi can choose Kotori only if Nemu’s not around ? That’s too bad

no, this is a branch off of Da Capo(I), Da Capo II is a completely different story line with diff. characters. as long as you watched the first one, then ur fine.
