There is a fair amount of things that happened in previous series that if you do not know about it, certain things will not make to much sense in this series or have as big of impact.
It mostly a dialog based show with the most violent scene being Yumi running face first into someone.
To those who haven’t watched the three earlier seasons of Maria watches over us(Maria-sama ga Miteru). Season one and two are now available in DVD box sets from Right stuf and the third is coming this February. Go buy them, it’s a very good series to watch.

Yeah, things seem to have been blown a bit out of proportion there.
Although I fully understand and support the Chihiro side. I get tired of seeing people asking for things in the comments section, especially if it’s completely unrelated to that particular show.
Hell, I hate myself right now for posting this here, even though I never even watched Maria-sama etc… (I would watch it, but I’d have to start from season 1, episode 1 and I’ve got a few dozen more animes to watch already )
Anyways, I’m always glad with the Chihiro releases… As far as I can tell they deliver quality subbing at a relatively fast pace…. (And I got hooked on ZKC).
Hmmm, is Chihiro going to do a Shojo anime every season.
Last season it was Skipbeat, and now this. Of course, I’m not complaining. The world needs more shojo. *cough*ai*cough*.
