Only thing we may do is a v2 of this episode if it has an encoding error (I.E., screen goes black, or it desynchs, etc.), or something you may have mentioned a few weeks back that I missed. You have until Tuesday to say any reason why any episode needs a v2 (Encoding errors, missing lines, forgot to style, etc.), and if there is no real legit reason (I don’t buy “Bad translation” or “Poor grammar”, as that is your opinion, not ours), then we will batch on Tuesday.

I, at first, though it was the ASCII table characters (witch is not), so, I tried with the alphabet indexed with number to see if it was the solution (wich I think it isn’t).
I don’t have a solid clue of what is it, but I think I can crack de code!

Great work subbin this series. But I like a few others have noticed that the timing is out of sync.. well more like the audio towards the end of this episode ( Kyou no Go no Ni 13 ) so hopefully this is fixed and a v2 is released of it.

Kruz, they could be not refering to letters, but the Kanji of the name. If that’s the case, then your short a few letters. If it is the Kanji, then this is gonna be hella harder.

However, god, come on guys. That horrible frame-rate problem at the end is STILL happening. This does not happen with *ANY* other MKV I play. Only your 5-2 eps.
That stuff started right at the end of the episode and totally ruined the whole epilogue/final ED sequence. I have no idea how your encoder is doing it so wrong. Sigh.

I have to say that I also have problems with the playback of this ep, particularly during the ED, while using ffdshow through mplayer. OTOH, no probs using mplayer-hc, and VLC, both of which have their own h264 decoder.
So it seems that whatever the problem is, is between this encode and ffdshow.
NB: for the record, other 720p resolution shows I watch on my comp using ffdshow have no problems at all.

I only had two problems with this episode and one is more of an itch than a problem.
16:10-16:15(?) video overlaps some with itself and doesn’t transition, but this is only for a second and doesn’t have any other consequences at all.
20:15-end continual desyncing of video throughout getting further and further behind the audio.
If it can be fixed then that would be great.

Towards the end, the video starts getting jerky and the audio starts to go off sync. I think there was another earlier 5-2 episode that had a similar problem like this but less severe.

Still waiting for the Xvid. For me your K52 MKVs constantly get the sound out of sync on my computer while I don’t have problems with anyone else’s MKVs. Xvids also plays fine on my laptop and takes less space so I always prefer them. Thanks for subbing K52, I hope they make another season because I really liked it.

It looks like the framerate changes near the end of the transport stream you used, but you don’t have a VFR section set up so the entire ED goes out of sync (which is a shame because there’s dialogue in it).
(Tested using CCCP 2008-09-21, 2008-12-29, ffmpeg trunk and mkvinfo reference.)
So, please could you do a v2 of ep 13?
