On another note, some people here might not be able to access nyaatorrents still. At this point of posting, a check with host-tracker indicated that the following places (and maybe beyond) being unable to access nyaatorrents due to “Domain lookup failure:www.nyaatorrents.org Exception:Not_found”.

To those have problems accessing nyaatorrents from the affected regions, it might help to alleviate the problem by routing through a proxy.

I’m on AT&T and nyaatorrents.org does now resolve either. However if I point my DNS to opendns.com (208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220) it resolves just fine. If you add one of these addresses as your 3rd DNS server you should be able to resolve nyaatorrents.org.

@frank go to either mininova or btjunkie and search for Rosario Vampire and look for what you need. thats how i did it. I just wish Nyaatorrents would work for me so i don’t have to use a ‘go around’ method.

For those who have no idea what a proxy server or configuring program is, use a website proxy mask such as Anonymouse.com, or Proxylord.com. Just go to the site and come back to this one using the URL bar they give you. Easy peasy.
Also, when you are in the process of downloading the tracker will come up bad/red/unresponsive, etc. Don’t worry about it.

Nothing really suspicious, just a bunging sys-op at their hosting site. A bad DNS record can hang around for awhile even after its corrected.
You get what you pay for. A cheap hosting site will have to keep costs down and that means paying as little as possable for your tech support.

For those with slow download speeds and can’t access Nyaatorrents via here, go to mininova.com and search for it. Its faster that way, and the proxy thing, although it works, can sometimes slow down speeds.

Nyaa server’s DNS isn’t pointed to every place yet. That’s why some people can access while some can’t.
Should be fix soon.

You wouldn’t want to download a file and get your Windows / Mac / Linux machine to crash would you? (not because of embedded viruses and spy/ad-ware, but “floating” ones that got caught up in your data stream)

Thanks for the anon proxy link………… I dont know whats going on with NYAA but I run my own ISP with a 10 megabit connection with my own DNS servers and I get my updates from ONLY the 26 root DNS servers. So what ever is going on is fairly serious on their end.

What’s with the censorship? It’s irritating watching those teddies and bats on the way. It’s not that I’m a hentai person or something. Besides, that censorship doesnt make any sense because there are still shots with panties. Are those teddies+bats just to piss of or they are there to hide panties? I have NO problems with panties. A: It is softsubbed. We will only support CCCP. If you’re using VLC, you’re on your own. DL CCCP, install it, and make sure it has vobsub filter support.
