It’s so nice, being that we don’t have to catch up on series anymore. As such, we were able to finish subbing this in a little over 24 hours after the chinese sub we wanted came out. Yay~
It’s also nice that nothing new is added on during the times of Tuesday-Wednesday. It allows us to concentrate on other stuff. For instance, ZKC is likely going to come out soon. ef is likely to come out soon. Chaos;Head is probably within 48 hours of release. It’s so nice~

Also, somebody asked a status of the TLR WS’s. They’re encoding, and have been for a couple of days now. Be patient. For SB and Quartet ULs, I know. Give me 3 hours on a wireless and they’ll be up. But for now, I’m not on wireless, nor do I see myself getting to be until tomorrow.

Well..the thing with Macademi is that it is VERY censored, and the only station that airs it uncensored is A-TX. But there’s no cap of episode 2 from that station.

read 1 volume of the manga and u’ll know. this one is my fav ever! i love the manga even more than i loved hellsing, berserk, anatolia story, soul eater and naruto (though naruto is quite close on my preferences list). i think that anime will be awesome too!

As what EricGN says, is there anyone who could possibly consider Macademi Wasshoi as like said above, it has been dropped but no one is yet to pick it up?? & maybe Hyakko too?? as the group doing Hyakko [Himatsubushi] has dropped it but its been picked up by [Mayu-Genjo] but they are too damn slow as there is now 4 episodes out for this show but they have only released 2 as of yet??

Chihiro, what happened? Your first sub (ep. 1) of Skip Beat! was great– hardsubs, good aspect ratio/resolution, the subs seemed accurate and decently sized, as well as well-timed. Then I download Episode 2, the filetype’s changed to an MKV, the subs have to be manually turned on, aren’t accurate, and are HUGE no matter what I do… what gives? You guys don’t even have the OP and ED subbed? The subs for when people are talking and there are signs are overlapping, meaning I can’t read anything! I honestly don’t understand how you guys can go from such high quality to such…. yeuuuch. Did you guys rush in an effort to get more episodes out before the other sub groups? Even if that’s not it, it sure seems like it. Bad show, Chihiro. I was expecting better of you. I think unless you guys improve again and I hear about it from others, I’ll probably get my subs elsewhere, even if I have to wait longer for it.

Yea but the group doing Hyakko only released the 3rd few days ago when it was well over 7 days since it was broadcast, i mean i know the steps to subbing can be quite long but chihiro can probably do it quicker, but there is no point going on since Yuuhi[Z] said that they are “definatly not” subbing Hyakko anyway (sighs in dissappointment….)
As for Wasshoi i thought you ppl @ Chihiro could do it as a side project when your not busy doin the others, like when animes have breaks for a week or so, ya know something like that??
Oh well i am happy with what i have got for now and appreciate everything from chihiro at the speed it is released, thank you.

@codegeass: Thanks. DLDing now. I guess the difference lies in MKV vs. xVID, but I’ve got MKVs of entire other series that don’t require manual subtitle-switching, and the size of the subtitles is fine. Accuracy… well, that comes from the translators; I’m not faulting the whole team there. And translation is tough work; I’ve done it before.
But srsly guys, TSU-RU-GA Ren. Not TSU-RA-GA. This is stuff you can find with one simple Google search of the series. And the OP and ED (Dream Star by the generous; Namida by 2BACKKA) have already been translated; if your own translator can’t do it, then maybe just grab them from elsewhere? But at least include them, even if you don’t do karaoke timing.
If you need a checker or an editor for the scripts, tho, I’d be happy to help!
@DmonHiro: Yes, VLC, though I also have MPlayer OSX and other Mac OS X media players. I’ve also got a virtual machine, but I wouldn’t want to switch into Windows just for the sake of watching an episode. I’m of the opinion that videos and other media should work cross-platform, and not be specific to a certain OS or player. I’m sure h.264 has its great benefits, but it seems xVID works better FOR MORE PEOPLE, so maybe releasing it first would be better? Just a thought.
