   Just because it’s a speedsub doesn’t make it any better. As they say, terrible sub is terrible.

   we already have enough groups subbing this and at a very high speed, unless a group can do better than them regardless of speed, they shouldn’t start subbing this series

   @vin: Shoku-dan are doing x264 encodes of all episodes, 5-8 will be released soon according to their channel. They’re also doing a multi-language HQ mkv after 13 eps apparently.

   Uhm… About 20% of the translations were correct. If that. Even that percentage is pretty low for a speedsub group.

    Sometimes when looking at the difference between two different subs of the same show I realized that being less accurate is sometimes preferred for the sake of comprehension and flow. Also the Japanese method of speaking gets on my nerves. Do they really speak like Yoda all the time?

    Actually over at Shoku, we don’t hate Chihiro at all. If Chihiro are able to get a watchable sub out quickly, then great. They can go for speed, and for people who want to see it ASAP it’s really useful. We prefer to go for quality and thus take time to release. Encoding karaoke takes a lot longer than just muxing subs into a raw feed. As for copy pasting, we hardsub, so good luck ripping copypasting them unless you have our karaoke files (6 files per episode)

    Stop being an asshole EcchiMan, you’re disrespecting both Chihiro and Shoku-dan.

    Just thank you for your work. I really liked your episode 8 of vampire knight, it was the best quality of image I found. Just don’t mind all of the nasty comments. Finally, you can do what you want and people can just chose what to do with it. Thank you Chihiro!!

    Can’t watchers leave their fansubbers alone? IF they WANTed feedback and criticism, there would be a FEEDBACK AND CRITICISM section set up to improve the fucking quality.

    I have my preferences, I share them with my friends (e.g. I prefer accuracy and straight-forwardness over wild interpretations) but I don’t shoot the fansubbers directly, heck because there are more than 1 I have a CHOICE of which fansub to watch.

    So thanks to both fansubs, and hopefully some flamers would read this, wake up and smell the coffee you made last week and remember to throw it away. Or drink it and make the world a better place.
